Only One Name

“There is no one else who has the power to save us, for there is only one name to whom God has given authority by which we must experience salvation: the name of Jesus.” (Acts 4:12, TPT)
In Christ alone, we are resurrected into a new life with new thoughts, new steps to take and new relationships to build. We are forgiven and our past is redeemed.
In Christ alone, we are accepted, included and encouraged to come with our child-like faith into the presence of Jesus.
In Christ alone, we are invited to follow Him.
In Christ alone, we are known and we are given knowledge and understanding to know who Jesus is, what it takes to follow Him and what He expects from us.
In Christ alone, we are asked to leave behind our old way of life.
In Christ alone, we have the privilege of coming into the presence of God; he hears from us and we hear from Him.
Because of the life and ministry of Jesus, we have an opportunity to believe in Him and give our hearts to Him. When we do this, we can have His Spirit dwelling in us. We can see God through the work of Jesus, and God sees us through the work of Jesus. God gives us the opportunity to serve with Him in this world and to show others what He looks like, through our witness as a follower of Jesus. We also have the awesome responsibility of introducing others to Jesus so they can experience the new life we’ve found!
There is only one name that has the power to change your life and rescue you from sin and death… His name is Jesus. In Him (Christ Jesus), we are made complete!
