Shine Kids Preschool
TWO AND A HALF TO FOUR YEAR OLD CLASS:
Our 2-and-a-half to 4 year old program is designed to introduce young children who are not potty trained to a first experience in a preschool setting. Children will be introduced to a monthly theme through a story, art, music, and play. Children will be introduced to colors and shapes and work on them throughout the year. Bible stories will be part of the class. Children will play in the gym or on the playground each day. Parents will drop off and pick up children at the classroom. Children in the 3/4 Year Old Class are welcome to add this extra day! Themes will be consistent in both classes.
Wednesdays 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
THREE TO FOUR YEAR OLD CLASS:
Our 3/4 year old program is designed for children entering kindergarten in two school years. The program provides a fun filled experience for the child in a Christian setting. The instruction is designed to meet the younger child’s interests, attention span, and activity level. The children will be exposed to readiness skills in the areas of numbers, colors, shapes, and name recognition. Experiences will include music, large and small motor skills, and art. Children will play in the gym or on the playground each day. One field trip will be planned. Holiday celebrations and an end of the year parent program are planned.
Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
PRE-K CLASS:
Our Pre-K program is designed for children entering kindergarten the next school year. The program provides a fun filled experience for the child in a Christian setting. The children will be exposed to readiness skills in the areas of numbers, letters, and writing. Children will learn through themes that will include art, music, science, and social studies. Colors, shapes, and name recognition will be reviewed. Experiences will include music, large and small motor skills, and art. Children will play in the gym or on the playground each day. One Parent Day will be planned in April. Holiday celebrations and an end of the year parent program are planned.
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays 9:00 a.m - 11:30 a.m.
FRIDAY MULTIAGE CLASS:
Our Multiage Class (ages 3.5 - 6 years old) is designed to give each child an additional day of learning each week. We will have a Bible theme for the day that will include a letter of the week, games, art, music, and science.
Fridays 9:00 a.m - 11:30 a.m.
LUNCH BUNCH:
Lunch bunch is offered for the 3/4 preschool class and Pre-K class.
Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
